Water skiing

Someone was water skiing in the harbour last night. Behind them you can see a part of the city. You may among other buildings spot the opera, and behind it the Radisson SAS Plaza hotell. :o)

This is the first shot with my new toy, a super wide-angle zoom lens! So far I am satisfied. :o)

Oslo Plaza

Today's photo was taken by my guest blogger, Stormel, who is both my neighbour and friend. This is the view from her window at work. Very impressive, isn't it!?

This is the hotel Oslo Plaza. With it's 129 meters tall (approx. 423 feet) it is the tallest hotel in Northern Europe and Norway's tallest building. There are 37 floors and 673 rooms in this hotel. I have no idea about the prizes as I've never stayed there myself, but I did go to the bar on the top by the glass elevator outside of the building. Very cool!
