This is another view from Carl Berner in Oslo towards the center of town, the fjord and the city hall. Notice the red and the yellow wooden building in front?
I think these two houses are really sweet and always smile when I pass them. They're situated in between some old factory brick buildings. Unfortunately, I just heard they're going to tear down the two wooden houses to build a new shopping center and more parking space. That is really sad...

The view is nice. I like your choices.
It's so sad when old buildings go down.
Quite an assortment of structural styles. Very interesting photo.
Yes, thanks for visiting my blog. And I guess you and I lived in a different world at one time. We were very primitive during the war years.
When this ol world keeps getting me down am gonna be up on the roof... Nice birds eye view by the way...
History... oh sad.
I have posted a photo of the missing UK girl Madeleine in the hope that the more people see her, the more chance she may be found. Please take a sec to pop over to Cheltenham, to put her face in your head. Thanks to you and your readers.
Thanks for your comments!
A new shopping center and more cars???Nothing can be done to prevent such a thing? These houses are uninhabited?
Alice: I'm not sure, but I did think someone lived there. I guess there isn't anything to do now, I just heard about it and it seems that the plans are fixed. Unfortunately.
I was always there when I was oslo:)
Nice photo:)
