André gave us this picture which is the view of Oslo, seen from Sinsen, at Christmas Eve. As you can see there was some beautiful Mother-of-pearl clouds that night! :o)

From Karl Johan street

This building on Karl Johan is quite beautiful, I think.

You can do some shopping there and then have a nice meal at Hard Rock Café.

Ibsen quotes

Henrik Ibsen, 20 March 1828–23 May 1906 was one of Norway's most famous authors ever. His writing has inspired a street artwork: From Arbins gate (Arbin's street) to the Grand hotel (where Ibsen lived and where he used to eat), you can find famous quotes from his plays.

This one says: Evigt ejes kun det tabte which translates into something like "Only that which is lost remains eternal".

Still open

Narvesen (a small shop often to be found near the metro stations) is usually open from early morning til late evening.
