Yesterday's photo by Mark was from the Vigeland park. This photo is also by Mark, and even though we've showed you this statue before, I think it deserves to be posted again. I like this photo because of the angle and the evening light.

Irresponsible man

I'm not sure what the story behind this statue is, he may be balancing the babies or throwing them... Anyway, it's one of the many statues by Vigeland in the Vigeland Park. We've showed you lots of pictures from this park earlier, just click on the labels and you'll find more.

Norwegian Wood

Norwegian Wood is a music festival in Oslo. It takes place in Frognerbadet, near Frognerparken (the Vigeland Park). Foo Fighters played at Norwegian Wood this weekend. A great concert! :o)

The Monolith II

This is taken behind the Monolith. A different view. There are stairs leading up to the Monolith, surrounded by many statues. Really interesting to look at.

Fountain

Here's a picture I took few years ago in Frongerparken. It's one of the big fountains that are in the middle, after the brigde.
