A rainy day

Today has been a rainy day. But the city looks good in the dark anyway. All the lights and the reflections at the wet ground makes it look good. This is the view outside the main entrance at the National Theatre a couple of hours ago. :o)

Akerselva again

This is another photo from the Akerselva river in Oslo. A lovely evening photo from Anne-Sophie. :-)

Moonlight over Sofienberg

A view from an apartment near Sofienbergparken, near the city center. The big chimney in the background is probably one of the two chocolate factories nearby. I used to go to school in this area and remember how wonderful the smell was when the wind was in the right direction. :)

Night time Oslo

I was planning to see if I could spot Jupiter on the night sky, but unfortunately, I couldn't see much because of some clouds that were in the way. I did get this view of Oslo, though.

Blue roof

Another of Randi's wonderful Oslo by night-photos. She wrote that this reminded her of the school in Harry Potter. The roof is lit up like that, but why blue..? I don't know. Still, it looks nice!

Oslo by night

This picture is one of many wonderful photos by Randi Gording at Randiweb.com. She is so kind that she has given me permission to show some of them to you on Oslo daily photo. More will follow. Thank you, Randi! :-)

Spooky neighbourhood

Me and my camera went for a walk to night, and this is one of the houses in my neighbourhood. It looks funny, and a little bit spooky in the dark, don't you think? ;o)

Oslo Plaza by night

This is the first shot with my new toy, a super wide-angle zoom lens! So far I am satisfied. :o)

The picture shows the Radisson SAS hotel; Oslo Plaza, and the street called Schweigaardsgate.

Oslo Cathedral by night

Oslo Cathedral is still closed for refurbishment, and will be closed for at least another year. I think the church looks kind of funny covered up like this. ;o)

Good night, world

This is a view from the roof of my building. I love watching the sky when the sun goes down.

...and a beautiful night

I woke up the other night and took this photo. The photo is nothing even close to the beautiful starry night I saw, unfortunately.
